The Beacon Promise 

We want to create better places for people and the planet by working with you and putting you at the centre of everything we do. This promise ensures we are listening, asking, and acting to improve services and contributing to strengthening communities where everyone can thrive.

This promise will help us to:

  •  Communicate clearly and regularly with you on important topics related to your home. 
  •  Encourage more people to get involved in shaping services by bringing Beacon to you. 
  •  Admit our mistakes, share our successes and be open to feedback so you can trust us. 
  •  Make sure everyone has a chance to be heard by making involvement easy. 
  •  Give you more say in decisions that affect you.

By agreeing, you give the Get Involved project permission to:

  • Take and use photos or videos of you (or the named individual) to promote Resident Engagement.
  • Store this imagery for up to two years.
  • Use it on Beacon Cymru’s websites/ partner websites, social media, printed materials, and in local or national media.

Resident engagement in Wales

Resident engagement is a key area that all housing associations are regulated on and must evidence, both to the Board and to the Regulator. Read the Regulatory Framework for Wales (PDF).
There are organisations that facilitate resident voice being heard effectively, including TPAS Cymru and National Independent Tenant Voice Cymru.
