Ers hynny mae wedi gwasanaethu amrywiol ddefnyddiau, yn gyntaf fel siop adrannol, ac yn fwy diweddar fel swyddfeydd nes iddo gael ei wagio yn 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Caffaelodd Beacon y safle yn 2023, gan achub yr adeilad hanesyddol rhag cael ei ddymchwel gan berchennog y tir. Gan weithio&#039;n agos gyda&#039;n contractwr Morganstone, fe wnaethom ddylunio cynllun a fydd yn cadw ac yn gwella cymeriad yr adeilad i ddarparu 48 o gartrefi preswyl rhent cymdeithasol newydd \u2013 28 yn rhai newydd a 20 yn rhai wedi&#039;u haddasu, ynghyd \u00e2 3 uned fasnachol ar y llawr gwaelod, atriwm a rennir ar gyfer ein preswylwyr a storfeydd biniau a beiciau.<\/p>\n<p>Yn 2025, cymerodd Morganstone feddiant i gyflawni dymchwel y bloc garej 3 llawr presennol \u2013 gyda strwythur 6 llawr newydd yn cael ei adeiladu o fewn yr \u00f4l troed. Mae&#039;r newidiadau i&#039;r adeilad presennol yn cynnwys ychwanegu dau lawr newydd drosodd i ffurfio strwythur 5 llawr.<\/p>\n<p>Mae ailddatblygiadau canol dinas yn enwog am fod yn anodd darparu mannau allanol i drigolion, tra ar yr un pryd yn darparu&#039;r nifer o gartrefi sy&#039;n bodloni anghenion tai lleol. Llwyddodd ein penseiri (Huw Griffiths Architects) i gyflawni hyn ar y datblygiad hwn trwy greu gofod Atriwm cymunedol a fydd yn cael ei oruchwylio gan yr holl gartrefi, gyda&#039;r nod o roi ymdeimlad cryf o gymuned i&#039;n trigolion yn ogystal \u00e2 rhoi golygfeydd deuol o fewn y cartrefi.
